The New moon and Parasites

It’s that time of the month again where parasite activity will be higher. It’s March and Full moon is 28th March, but tonight is the new moon at 5am 🌕 and second highest parasite activity of the month.

If you or your child has more symptoms or is more irritated, or has emotional difficulties. Anxiety, depression, etc today- this is why.

Did you know that Parasites increase their movement in your body including reproducing around the full and new moon?

This is due to our circadian rhythm being affected by the full moon cycle making our body produce more serotonin and less melatonin.

The full moon has an interesting impact on your hormones and chemical balance.

Melatonin levels naturally drop every full moon. Melatonin is a neurotransmitter that sends critical messages within your brain and nervous system. It impacts both your sleep and immunity. During this time, your immune system is more vulnerable.

While melatonin naturally decreases, your serotonin levels increase during the full moon. Low levels of serotonin are typically associated with anxiety, depression, and insomnia. But a sudden spike in normally healthy levels — like during a full and new moon — might also offset your behavioral and mental state.

In addition, serotonin impacts parasitic behavior. Parasites have serotonin receptors. An increase of serotonin during the full moon helps increase parasites’ mobility. Parasites can also use this neurotransmitter to communicate with each other.

When the Critters Inside You Come Out to Play
When you hear “parasites,” you may think of traveling. World travelers are frequently warned to watch what they eat and drink, depending on their location.

But parasites are not only a concern when you’re traveling. Parasites exist all around us. You could pick up an unwelcome critter from cuddling your dog, eating sushi, swimming in a lake, walking barefoot outside, and lots more.

The truth is we all have parasites as I always explain ..But if our immune systems are working properly, we may remove them naturally and not even notice anything.

Overtime, however, more and more parasites can build up in the body. And a full and new moon is the perfect time for these insidious critters to come out to play.

As already mentioned, melatonin levels decrease and serotonin levels increase in your body during a full moon. Since parasites thrive off serotonin, they become more active. While you may not have noticed these unwelcome house guests before, you may experience sudden symptoms spikes around a full and new moon.

Parasites love serotonin as it stimulates muscles and allows them to move about more freely in your body, it helps them to reproduce and also get stronger as it increases their ability to feed!

Another interesting way they use serotonin is to communicate with each other and create biofilms in your body so that they can inhibit your immune system from getting rid of them.

If you have a heavy parasitic infection you may feel very unwell or have increased symptoms around the week of the full moon. If you find yourself feeling irritated, lively, out of sorts, depressed, anxious, craving sugar, unable to sleep, increased levels of pain in your body, diarrhea or constipation or general weakness and fatigue it may be due to this higher level of parasite activity.

So what can you do?

  • cloves are good around this time
  • cut all sugar
  • move your body
  • stay hydrated
  • get enough sleep
  • be kind and zero stress – please understand your kids can’t help what they are doing at this time
  • Increase zeolites or fulvic if you have it (dischem)
  • Take either LymXex, Heatoxin or Gut Clear formula
