We live in Era where processed foods, take outs, alcohol, sugars and carbs are a daily meal. Many have resorted to smoking hubbly/hooka that introduce damp to the body.

Contrary to the times of our parents and grandparents, where home-cooked meals fragranced the air which sent off the right signals for digestive Enzyme to begin excreting.

The wholesome foods of our ancestors that built them are a vague memory for plenty.

Apart from overindulging in the wrong food, we also do so at the wrong time due to our unhealthy lifestyles.

So how does all of this contribute to our illness and the ailments that many are struggling with.

To begin, dampness and phlegm, (COHE TIM/ TCM diagnosis) a term many are not familiar with, is a term used to describe the excess of sticky fluids in the body.

Reduce the intake of soda, caffeine, ice creams, dairy, cheese, processed foods, take out foods, breads, white rice and sugars.

Start exercising.

Eat at the correct time and in the correct portions.
