Despite the advance in technology and things including preparing food becoming faster, we seem to have less time.

One of the many causes of illness includes eating before we sleep.
There many victims of this habit due to circumstances and sometimes due to habit or cravings. Today I would like to just point out one area that has been on the increase due to this.

Weak digestive organs are responsible for diseases such as diabetes, insulin resistance and the increase of heat in our bodies..
The last meal of the day should not be any later than 18h30.
Snacking before bed should be eliminated.
However having a glass of warm water can be highly beneficial to many.

Another factor thats detrimental to our health is taking a bath or shower directly after eating.

One should wait nothing less than 30min after eating to have a bath/shower.
The blood and energy after eating is necessary for digestion, hence showering or bathing causes the blood to be taken towards the skin surface instead, slowing the digestion down. This leads to a deficiency of blood for digestive activity to take place. As a result general weakness, stagnation and blood stasis can occur. This can then lead to even more serious illnesses that could have been avoided.
